Archival RUC soundings available again

Greetings, At the request of several users, we are now once again making archival RUC soundings available at http://rucsoundings.noaa.gov/. These... -- are for airports in the RUC domain ( http://rucsoundings.noaa.gov/get_airports.cgi ) -- are generated every hour -- comprise analyses and 3-h forecasts -- are from the "Bak13" (backup RUC) cycle -- are saved for 14 days -- start at 12 UTC, Friday 8 May 2009 We must balance available disk space against user desires, so we're starting with this relatively limited archive. We'll consider well-reasoned requests to expand this archive, to the extent resources allow. Let us know your needs. Also let me know if you encounter issues, or if your favorite airport is missing; we may be able to add it, as time and resources allow. -Bill
