Reflectivity missing in KY/WV/VA

I've been watching the analysis composite reflectivity field (REFC) today and noticed that it doesn't catch the widespread snow in the KY/WV/VA border area. This area shows up clearly on the actual national radar composite and there have been persistent metar reports of snow (even heavy snow). Anyone know why this area has no reflectivity in the RUC output (either analysis or forecasts)? Thanks, Mike Gibson
