Thanks to good detective work by Dennis Keyser and Jeff Ator at NCEP and Bob Lipschutz at FSL, the number of VAD wind profilers getting into RUC-2 today went up to about 110 each hour, quite an increase from the ~30 we had a few weeks back. This improvement will help the Eta and AVN models also.
