RUC website updates - GRIB files, SST, viewer

There are a few updates on the RUC/Rapid Refresh web page.

Under:
Other RUC Information, Real-Time and Archived Data
The information on the 3 RUC GRIB files are now updated, including the 93 2-d fields in the RUC isobaric files, and the 28 surface fields available in the RUC surface files. More info inside http://ruc.noaa.gov/ruc2vars.html.

Also, a link is now available to see the daily SST data used by the RUC (and the NAM, after a quick switch back for the NAM this morning). This is available under "Model topography" at the RUC web site and also directly available at
http://polar.ncep.noaa.gov/sst/oper/namer_sst_oper0.gif.

Finally, we have given general access to a very nice interactive RUC GRIB Java-viewer written by Bill Moninger. It is now available in the index on the left side, and is also directly available at http://ruc.noaa.gov/view. You can look at any field from the operational RUC, and also the dev-RUC13, dev-RUC20, and the dev2-RUC20 (including TAMDAR data).
