There was one other area of changes in the Monday 12/21 change package for the RUC not mentioned in the last summary message -- changes in precision of 211 grids from the RUC. For those of you using the RUC 211 grids on AWIPS or whatever, the fields will look somewhat less blocky now -- the precision had previously set coarser than that of the Eta. The previously mentioned shift of Eta RH back to w.r.t. water and accompanying of RUC boundary condition to be consistent with that is scheduled for 12Z 12/23 (Wednesday) according to Geoff Manikin at NCEP.
