Hi Sydney, The Arakawa-C rotated lat-lon grid is the full domain for the RAP, but other smaller domains are generated from this larger one. To match the RUC, you should get the RAP data on the CONUS 130 grid. You can check your data files with a utility called wgrib2. If they are on the CONUS 130 grid, the dimensions will be 451 X 337. If you are using a CONUS 130 grid, your parser should work as it did with the RUC, (hopefully). Brian Jamison
