Bad news to report from NCEP: there is a major problem with the backup supercomputer this morning, and NCO has a policy of not implementing new codes when such problems exist. Beginning tomorrow morning, we are entering critical weather day mode for a space shuttle mission, and no implementations can be made on a critical weather day. The current plan is to implement the RUC package on Monday morning 17 November. Apologies for the delay.
