Justin, Thanks for your question on the Rapid Refresh run length. NCEP has agreed to a request from AWC and SPC to run the operational Rapid Refresh hourly out to 18h each run (implementation currently planned by early 2010). The experimental RR now running at ESRL only runs out to 12h. We will extend that to 18h over the next few months, and will in 2009 have an experimental version that runs out further.
