Hi- That's too bad that the first version of the WRF Rapid Refresh will not include some kind of isentropic coordinate system. The isentropic-sigma hybrid scheme in the RUC was one of the main reasons (among others) that I latched onto using the RUC many years ago. I don't know too much about the NMM or the ARW. Are the upper level features in those models generally any better than the current RUC? Thanx- Will Murray - WFO BTV
