Scott,

Thanks for your observant question on possible slight supersaturation in the RUC sounding data on the FSL sounding web page.
You saw it correctly, but it is not from a model bug but instead a misdesign of the timing for calling output within the model. This is only an issue in the native-coordinate RUC output (used in the sounding web page), not the isobaric output, BUFR soundings or any other RUC output. The output is currently made within a time step when the cloud physics is 2 min behind the dynamics. So it is possible to get a slight supersaturation, as you found in the Pensacola sounding last evening. We'll get this output timing fixed, but at least you can be assured that it is not a bug in the RUC model physics. Thanks for asking.
