HRRR struggled with snow cover

The HRRR refused to move the warm front north in IL/MI today - maybe due to snow cover? It was a good 100 miles south even at FHR00 through much of the day, and then the warm air just sort of "mushroomed" in spots over MI on the forecast hours after it had already occurred.
