TAMDAR aircraft obs added to RAP/HRRR 3 Aug

Hello all,
TAMDAR aircraft observations from regional carriers were added to the operational RAP and HRRR at NCEP started 18z 3 Aug 2017. From 200-2000 additional observations per hour are added from TAMDAR, mostly from 1000-500 hPa, and concentrated in the western US, Alaska, eastern US, and Central America. These data are provided out of a NOAA-Panasonic agreement.
