Thanks very much both of you for your replies. When I process these new grids I see 11 variables that I did not find when processing the grids back in May. The simulated GOES brightness temperatures, the downward longwave flux, the upward shortwave, the visible diffuse downward, 10 m wind, visible beam downward, specific humidity and upper longwave at the top of the atmosphere. Did these get added in the interim or did I just miss them somehow back in May? What are the terms and conditions under which somebody can get a password for the experimental grids.
