HRRR implemented at NCEP today

The NCEP HRRR became operational today starting with the 14z cycle. Data files are available at ftp://ftpprd.ncep.noaa.gov/pub/data/nccf/nonoperational/com/hrrr/prod/ The confusing word "nonoperational" in that path is due to an update to the NCEP server not being currently possible. The path will likely change at some point in 2015. Graphics on the ESRL web page http://rapidrefresh.noaa.gov/HRRR/Welcome.cgi will soon point to the NCEP HRRR as the "primary" run. Limited graphics are also available on the NCEP Model page http://mag.ncep.noaa.gov/
