NCEP HRRR files now available for ftp

We are still on track to implement the HRRR at NCEP in late September. In preparation for the implementation, files from the parallel HRRR runs at NCEP can be found at ftp://ftp.ncep.noaa.gov/pub/data/nccf/nonoperational/com/hrrr/para/ A National Weather Service Technical Implementation Notice describing what's contained in the various files, along with general information about the model can be found at http://www.nws.noaa.gov/om/notification/tin14-32hrrr_oper.htm For a given cycle, the analysis files typically reach the server around 47 minutes past the hour, and the remaining files arrive in order over the next 36 minutes or so.
