Rapid Refresh (RAP) and High-Resolution Rapid Refresh (HRRR) Forum

Update on Rapid Refresh:
1. The current planned implementation date at NCEP for the Rapid Refresh to replace the RUC is now 24 Jan 2012.
2. A Technical Implementation Notice was issued today by the NWS on the Rapid Refresh implementation and is available at http://www.nws.noaa.gov/om/notification/tin11-53ructorap.htm.
