New RUC Forum software

Due to a number of inappropriate posts to the RUC forum, we've decided to make the RUC forum a moderated list. To do this we've upgraded the software supporting the forum. The new software has several new capabilities including faster search, faster loading, and user profiles. This latter capability is useful so that 1)forum readers can know better who you are, 2) no one else can pretend to be you on the forum, and 3) users with profiles can be allowed to post messages directly to the forum, without having their messages be moderated first. Otherwise, when you post a new message, you'll have to wait for someone on the RUC team to approve it before it goes onto the forum and is emailed out to all the subscribers. Please set up user profile for yourself if you wish, by using the 'Create Profile' link just above the message index. If you experience any difficulties with the behavior of the forum, please let me know. -Bill
