I am a hot air balloon pilot in Raleigh, NC. I have written a program which creates a weather forecast specifically for balloon flights. A part of this program creates a plot of the expected balloon flight path. This is accomplished by associating the sounding data from the Op40 and Bak40 sources with a predefined flight profile (altitude and time). This program is available to, and used by, many other balloon pilots.
