Here is an update to the message posted by Stan
yesterday:
The original plan was for the NCEP IBM SP to be down
Wednesday morning through Friday morning. Due to (I
believe) a space shuttle launch scheduled for later
this week, this has been moved up 24 hours. The
machine will be unavailable between approximately
16Z today (Tuesday) and sometime Thursday morning.
The NCEP backup model plan (which includes the
use of the FSL RUC2) will be in effect during this
period.
