Message: Back to the backup RUC for a few days next week

Here is a message from Micki Farley at NCEP received this morning:

This an advance notice to all of our backup sites to let you know that during
the week of 6 December, the NCEP IBM SP will be unavailable for 2 separate
outages:

Monday, 6 December from 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM EST

Wednesday, 8 December at 7:00 AM to Friday 10 December at 7:00 AM EST

During these periods, we will be invoking our backups for the:
RUC2 forecast using the FSL RUC2,
06/18Z Eta forecast using the 06/18Z AFWA MM5, and
GFDL model using the FNMOC GFDN (if required).

Should there be any problems with the Cray J90 computers, the FNMOC NOGAPS will
also be used for the 00/12Z AVN products.
