Greg is right -- we noticed from the FSL end this morning that the OSO grids were, in fact, still the FSL grids much of the time. Geoff Manikin has been working w/ NCEP/OSO folks to get them to stop the ftp from FSL. Will post again when we can confirm that this has been done.

Thanks Tom and Greg for your comments. As you can guess, there were a lot of folks behind the scenes at FSL and NCEP who you've never heard of who helped to keep the RUC backup relatively reliable, and your comments were passed on to them.
