Implementation of the RUC-2 system at NCEP was delayed until the week of April 6th, 1998. The planned implementation on March 31st needed to be delayed because of required system work, including replacement of several disks on NCEP's sms system. Barring critical weather or other computer failures the implementation will take place on March 6th. |
