At the last conference call on 15 Dec, we agreed that tomorrow (Tues 6 Jan 98) would be the date for our next call. This message is to give you information on how to connect.

The call will be at 10 am MST, and you can dial in a few minutes early at 1-700-991-4776. A computer will ask you for a number which gives access to this particular conference call. You can key in the number for our call: 07645

Again, as before, the purpose of the conference call is to convey your impressions of the RUC-2 versus the operational RUC, tell us of any difficulties you are having receiving or interpreting the output, and point out any weaknesses or strong points in performance. The feedback at the last conference call was very helpful in getting some changes to RUC2 model output later that week, and to later getting the BUFR soundings out there. We also welcome any questions on how products are produced. (Another email will follow this one with some information on that topic.)

We again ask that you participate in this conference call only if you are charged with examining the output of RUC-2 as one of the field test participants. We have room for not more than 20 participants. Peggy Bruehl and Laurie Morone, please join us if you can.

Since this will be a large conference call, please announce your name and location each time you speak. This will save major confusion. We'll do the same here at FSL.
