Upon analyzing the contents of the ruc2.T15Z.pgrbf09 file on 5 Dec, it appears that there are duplicates of the NCPCP (large scale precip, grib param 62) and ACPCP (convective precip, grib param 63). Is this correct? Also, the operational RUC has an APCP (total precip, grib param 61) in the ruc.T15Z.grb2f06 file that does not appear in the RUC2. Was curious as to why total precip was not included? Thanks! Phil |
