National Weather Service Glasgow MT
244 PM MST Mon Feb 18 2019 .DISCUSSION... Upper low over the region continues to weaken and drier air moving into the northern Montana. This will bring the light snow/flurries to an end over northeast Montana this evening, and with clearing skies temperatures should drop into the teens below zero. A little stronger north wind is expected to develop overnight, and this will help push wind chills toward minus 30 for most of the region. Have issued Wind Chill Advisory for all zones for overnight and into Tuesday morning. Upper trof over the region expected to dig southward over the next few days before lifting into the central Plains. To the west, another shortwave will dive down the western Canadian coast, and dig an upper low into the Great Basin by Thursday. This should send moisture back northward to overrun another Canadian high pressure, and produce some snow over Montana Wednesday night into Thursday morning. As the Great Basin low moves south and east through the end of the week, expect dry weather for northeast Montana. Next system to impact the region could move into the northern Rockies on Sunday. Ebert && .AVIATION... A mix of MVFR and VFR expected into the evening as light snow continues to diminish. Expect clouds to lift and clear from the west through the night, with VFR conditions on Tuesday. Temperatures will remain near or below zero through Tuesday morning, with potential impacts on light aircraft and terminal operations. && .GLASGOW WATCHES/WARNINGS/ADVISORIES...
